Nothing brings people together more than time spent around the kitchen table, eating a good meal and sharing conversations and laughter with those we love; nothing that ism except making that special dinner happen for a family that is less fortunate. An opportunity for families to share a special meal during the holiday season is something so many of us take for granted. The volunteers of WGYB have delivered a hot ham dinner to the families in our community that struggle to make this happen around their own kitchen table. Two times a year, volunteers gather in a large kitchen to peel, chop, cook, and package 125 hot meals for the families of the We’ve Got Your Back children in our community.
